Video Game Reviews of Luigi's MansionCustomer Review: Luigi's Mansion Rules Summary: 5 StarsOK first off this was the first "GAME CUBE" game Nintendo made. (I'm almost certain) It goes like this...
One day Luigi receives a letter saying he won a mansion. (in a contest he didn't even enter) So he packs and prepares telling Mario to meet him at his new dig (letting Mario go first) By the time Luigi arrives at his mansion it is very dark, and the mansion looks "haunted." Any ways Luigi goes on to the mansion, but not in any brave way (Luigi is shaking all over) Luigi opens the door, shines his flash light in, and say, "Hello?" which he does through out the rest of the game whenever u re-enter the mansion. After that point it goes over to play mode and u take control of Luigi for the first time in the game. u must learn some of the controls here by your self, but shortly later by a guy named, Professor E. Gadd, who studies ghost in a lab near the "haunted mansion." After looking around a little and taking the stairs to the second floor (there r five floors in all if u include the roof and the basement, other wise its just three) a foggy orange ghost appears and starts flying around the room, and Luigi looks like he's about to wet his pants (or overalls) lol. the ghost then drops a key and disappears. After that u walk over to the key pick it up, (Luigi does this freaky peace thing) u go back up stairs and use the key for the center door. (the big one) after that it shows a clip of Luigi unlocking and opening the door. (which he does every time u go into a new room) U then go into the room and ghost appear. Luigi starts freaking out again (if u haven't realized it yet, Luigi is a chicken) then out of no where Professor E. Gadd appears and starts trying to suck up the three ghost with this vacuum thing, (that r freaking Luigi out) but fails. they do however disappear for a few moments (enough for the Professor to ask u a couple of questions) then they re-appear and force Luigi and the Professor to evacuate the mansion. After that Professor E. Gadd tails u about the mansion. Luigi then tails E. Gadd about Mario, and the professor tells Luigi that he saw Mario go in not too long ago. Luigi agrees to help Gadd capture ghost with the vacuum thing while searching for Mario (the vacuum cleaner is a special device called the "Poltergust 3000" that is able to capture ghost, also the vacuum is about the only way Luigi can find his lost brother, Mario. After Gadd has given u the Poltergust 3000 he teaches u how to use it. After words u go to a Gadd's ghost gallery which is empty (turns out, the ppl like ghost, had escaped the pictures in his gallery and moved into the mansion. After that u leave the gallery, and the game officially begins.
The game is really great, but probably the most fun for ppl ages 8-14 but is for all ages too. It may however be difficult for younger kids. Over all this is a fantastic game and even more awesome for Luigi fans (like myself) and i would recommend this game too any one. I'm not really that good with Pros. and Cons. but the only Cons. I have for this game is that it is not that long, 3-10 hours, depending on your gaming skill. And that the door opening gets old. Beside that like i said before, THIS IS A FANTASTIC GAME!
P.S. I'm 11 years old
