Customer Review: This Game Is The Best Game In The World!
Summary: 5 Stars

This game is so cool! It has everything from awesome characters and graphics to levels and levels of unlocking secrets and new stages! I have no idea why they rated this "T" for teen. It's great for kids as long as someone over 13 is watching them or playing with them. Don't think I am a crazy 34 year old that loves blood or killing. Don't worry I'm perfectly normal. So parents if you're reading this please get this game for your kids if they have a GameCube. If they don't have a GameCube please buy them one Christmas is so near. It's great for kids 8-12. You don't have to if you think it's a waste of money but if your kids are bored with an outdated Nintendo 64 please get them this. Merry Christmas. May God bless you and your family.

Customer Review: AWESOME!
Summary: 5 Stars

Soul Calibur II is prolly the best fighting game I've ever played. It has, first of all, AWESOME graphics and fighting moves. The characters are also very interesting, and it's fun to try them all out. Weapon Master Mode is really fustrating at points(I almost punched a hole through my TV once after Ivy beat me for like, the 10th time^_^;) but thats the challenge of the game.

This game's fun-ness is 5 stars, I was going to rate it 4 stars like a few days ago, but I played it when a bunch of my friends came over, and it was a BLAST. We were shouting things like "YEA!! TAKE THAT CER-VAN-TAY OR WHATEVER YOUR NAME IS YOU BIZATCH!" and stuff heheh! It's 4 stars if you play it alone all the time but it's defitatly 5 stars if you play it with friends! So go get your friends together, get this game(if you don't have it) and fight till the end, my friend!(Hey that rhymed!)

Customer Review: One of the best fighting games I've ever played
Summary: 5 Stars

Soul Caliber II is an absolute must-have for anyone who likes martial combat games.

PROS:
- the character designs are very well done, and are combined with near-flawless moves and realistic reactions, such as wincing in pain and watching opponents in the air (also, some of the characters' "got beat" reactions are hilarious, especially Xianghua-she throws her sword down and assumes a haughty sulking pose)
- the music is very pretty and IMO meshes well with the different arenas (all of which have incredible detail) and doesn't distract during the battles
- the various play modes are sure to keep you coming back to test your abilities, especially the Weapon Master mode, which is an essential play-through in order to unlock many of the game's hidden features (several play modes, different graphics, artwork, hidden characters and weapons, etc.)
- contrary to some reviews I've read, I think the English translations and voices are well-done, especially Mitsurugi, Cervantes, Nightmare, Raphael, and Ivy
- each character has a huge arsenal of moves and has a unique fighting style that is displayed flawlessly through their techniques

CONS:
- there are a few minor graphics glitches in some of the match intros and win/lose scenes
- the dungeons in the Weapon Master mode can be annoying, especially since the "rules" for each dungeon are explained before each match and can't be skipped
- if you're like me and tend to be a button-masher due to lack of serious play time, the game can be incredibly frustrating at times, especially in Weapon Master mode
- the huge # of moves that each character has can make truly mastering the game a daunting prospect if you don't have hours a day to pour into the game (like I don't anymore)

One more thing: this review is for the GameCube version of SC2, which features Link as its "signature" new character (Heihachi for the PS2 and Spawn for the XBox are the other two). Link is a fairly solid fighter and his projectile attacks can be quite useful at times. The other really "out-there" new character is Necrid, a beefy bruiser who uses energy weapons that are similar to several of the other characters' weapons. Necrid appears in all three home versions of SC2. There are also several other characters who take the place of characters from SC2's predecessors (ex.: Cassandra for Sophitia and Yunsung for Huang) or are entirely new (ex.: Raphael, Talim).

Final word: Get this game NOW.

Customer Review: The Fun Meter Could Blow In This Game
Summary: 5 Stars

My whole life I have been a Mortal Kombat, Bloody Roar, Tekken fanboy and after purchasing this the other day I realized this type of game can get much better. The graphics are actually stunning and im use to Resident Evil. They look and run just a smooth if not better then Dead Or Alive 3. Everything in the game with the setup of moves and the controls to perform them are just perfect. It has the most replay value I have ever seen in a fighting game with the story mode lasting you well over 30hrs.There are so so many options in this game with over 200 weapons which is quite nice with each having there own power to help you out. The gameplay options with match types and extra bonus matches all add even more replay value to the game. Everything ties in to be one great very tight game. I would highly reccomend a purchase with this game don't even rent it. Hope this helped you out. A+ game.
