Customer Review: Arguably the best FPS for the gamecube

Looking for a first person shooter with some depth to it? One that will take more than a day or two to complete with a bunch of unlockables and extra features? Then this game is for you.
Timesplitters: Future Perfect (aka Timesplitters 3) is my personal favorite of the series. I'm not sure why people like the 2nd one better, as I think this one is leaps and bounds more superior than TS2. This game comes with a story mode that contains 13 levels, if I remember correctly, extra challenges, and 3 difficulty modes that will keep any gamer busy far longer than any 007 game. Not only that, but there is some humor tossed in here so it's not just a dry, shoot-em'-up bloodbath. The best part of this game is that it brings to life some dream scenarios for gamers like myself. Not many FPS games pit you in a mansion full of zombies with a double-barrel shotgun at your fingertips, or land you in a futuristic, Terminator-esque world where you're battling against a legion of enemy robots. And as far as multiplayer goes, there is none better. Being able to choose weapons, the level, and a character out of a good 200 different ones make this aspect of the game shine the most. A lot of the characters are quite humuours or unusual also, resulting in a lots of fun blowing up monkeys or undead cow carcasses.
In my mind there were 3 FPSs to come out for nintendo systems that redefined the genre: Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, and this. If you're looking for the gamecube version of Halo, this is it. I'm not much of a Halo fan at all, and I think this game overshadows the overrated Halo games by far. This is a must-have game if it is available to you.
